The first tender for the expansion and renovation project at Dartmouth General Hospital has been issued.
According to an article from the The Chronicle Herald, the tender was issued Tuesday with a deadline of April 13. According to the online documentation, the tender includes: “early sitework, concrete structure, elevators, early works mechanical, and early works electrical trades.”
The work is part of the QEII redevelopment project, which will see upgrades and expansion at several medical sites in the Halifax region. The expansion and renovations will support the closure of the Victoria and Centennial hospital buildings in Halifax.
The Dartmouth project is estimated at $132 million to $136 million.
