Martin Jobke has accepted the role of president of the Associated Engineering group of companies, effective January 1, 2018. As part of the company’s leadership succession, Associated Engineering’s board of directors selected Jobke, a civil engineer with 33 years of experience, to succeed president & CEO Kerry Rudd, who will retain the role of CEO after the transition.
Rudd states, “Martin has demonstrated leadership and a vision for integrated, collaborative project delivery that will support our clients and guide Associated Engineering’s continued growth and path forward.”
Since joining the company in 1987, Jobke has held roles of increasing responsibility, most recently vice president and general manager of Associated Engineering’s B.C. operation. As a civil engineer, Jobke specialized in transportation engineering, and led the delivery of traditional and alternative delivery projects in the resource and municipal sectors. In his role as vice president and general manager, he expanded the B.C. operation to include offices in Victoria, Whitehorse, and Yellowknife, in addition to its offices in Vancouver and Kelowna.
A volunteer with the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-BC, and passionate about alternative project delivery, Jobke has built strong relationships with the engineering community and the construction industry. Jobke says, “I look forward to meeting our clients and staff across Canada. Our clients can count on our continuing attention to service, quality and innovation to deliver resilient and sustainable solutions for their projects.”
